A barrage of icy glares was shot in every direction as Keith beat a staccato rhythm with the worn soles of his boots on the rain dampened sidewalk. Every pair of eyes he met cowed, filled with uncertainty, and the mother of a young boy herded the child protectively closer as he passed. He was a monster, his hide too rough and rugged for an ordinary human being. The beard of a goat at the shortest length and the mane of a hyena, both red, decorated his skull. His good eye was colored cornflower blue, the other blank, dead. Tiny rings pierced through one brow and another through his septum, but, perhaps, the most profound adornment was the scar that slashed from his forehead to his cheekbone, not avoiding his eye on the way down. It had taken the sight of his left side years ago. There was a story to go with that scar, but to every passerby that saw it, it only made

Vergil gazed at his own dark reflection in the empty glass always gleaming as if it had just been cleaned. The windows never yielded anything more than his own reflection, yet, somehow, he preferred the deathly blackness beyond to seeing his own face. He felt compelled to shatter his image with the heavy book in his hand, but Vergil was unsure what would become of him if he were to make an opening for the darkness to seep in or if the glass was even real. For the first time in his entire life, he had no way of truly knowing if he was living, if his accursed prison existed in reality, or if it was all simply an illusion. Of all the times he had descended into Hell, where up could be down or left or right and black was never actually black, that realization was almost hysterically laug
Um, I don’t really know a better way to put this, so I’ll just cut to the chase: I’m in need of money. $500 to be exact. By March 5. And I’m kind of freaking out, because I don’t have that kind of money, and my dad would kind of kill me if he found out I owe that much. (Long story short, I owe my campus $500 USD due to two of my college courses being dropped, one by choice, the other due to an insufficient amount of people signing up). I was expecting to have to pay back some money, but I didn’t expect it to be this soon.
I don’t know if I can raise that amount of money in less than a week (yikes), but it doesn’t hurt to try. Which is where these pics come in (some of which are incomplete, just fyi). Anyway, I… am going… to ask for donations… At first I was going to try commissions, but those never seem to work out for me. Anyway, any amount would be GREATLY appreciated. TREMENDOUSLY. However, as a thank you, those that donate a certain amount would get some art in return. I know it’s not the greatest, but at least it’s something.
I work digitally, with pencil/India ink and paper, some oil painting, and watercolors. Also, I do clay sheep on the side. Drawing/painting-wise, it ranges from line work to somewhat shaded, and from chibis to full figures. Watercolors are a bit iffy, as I barely started out with them, so bear with me if that’s what you want.
(Please keep in mind if you want an oil painting or clay sheep, I have a limited amount of supplies, so I can only do so many. And, you’d have to add the price of shipping into your donation, sorry. I live in Texas (USA) if that gives you an estimate on shipping costs.)
Since I have to be choosy about which donations get what kind of art (if they want any) feel free to comment or send a message if you want something specific, and I’d let you know the donation range. (Which, that kind of sounds commission-ish, so… If you want to commission me, you may also send me a message to do that.)
Just to be clear, if you donate any amount and want art, I’ll give it to you! It’d most likely be digital, though, and would range from the chibis/line art to the flat/slightly shaded/full figure ones. Like I mentioned above, if you want clay sheep or an oil painting, that’s when I’d like a higher donation, sorry.
Ah, I hope this wasn’t confusing, since I’m not great at communicating in general. (I’m extremely shy and people make me nervous. x: )
If you want more examples of my art, feel free to poke around in my gallery.
And lastly, here is my Paypal e-mail address if you’re feeling generous: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you want art in return, please put a way for me to contact you in the message box, and I’ll get to you when I can!
Even if you can’t donate anything, directing people to this message/reposting/spreading it by any means necessary ( ; O; ) is appreciated!
Thank you so much for reading this, and I hope you have a great day!
EDIT: If all else fails, I’ll resort to selling my stuff, which includes things signed by voice actors, cosplayers, and artists. ; O;
